Super jeep tour to one of the pearls of the Vatnajökull National Park.
Super jeep tour from Höfn to Evilsridge in Lónsöræfi, which is one of the pearls of the Vatnajökull National Park. The landscape is breath taking and an adventure for the senses. Photographic opportunities are uncountable.
To go to Evilsridge we must pass the river Skyndidalsá, so if the river is impassable, we take a sightseeing tour to Hvannagil canyon in Stafafellsmountains.
If we go to the canyon, due to impassable river, we go from there to Skutafoss waterfall and then onwards to Horn, where we witness majestic mountains rising from the black sand beach.
Duration: the tour is about 4-5 hours.
Drive in a super.

South East ehf is a small family business located in the town of Höfn on the southeast coast of Iceland.
Our names are Anna María and Siggi, we run this business and our aim is to make your visit to our beautiful area as magnificent as we can. We have lived here almost all our lives and know the area and all of its hidden gems.
We have one 4×4 Nissan Patrol on 38″ tires and one Ford Excursion extended on 45″ tires. The Patrol takes 6 passengers and the Ford takes 10 passengers. We specialize in smaller groups and private tours but if we have a request for larger groups we do our best to supply the survice our customers seek. We are so lucky to have friends with super jeeps to help us if needed.
Siggi is the driver and guide, he has worked for many years in our local rescue unit. He worked as a fisherman for about 23 years but for the last 7 years he has been a harbor pilot and the director of the port of Hornafjörður.

Patrick HAmazing personalized Tour
My wife and I visited beautiful Iceland this summer and went on a couple tours while there. The first was nice, and the scenery was, of course, amazing. But the tour we got from Siggi far exceeded our expectations.
We wanted a tour sort of off the beaten path. We didn’t want to be in a line of other cars seeing the same thing. Siggi said he had just the thing and boy did he deliver.
He picked us up from where we were staying and took us into some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. He told us about local customs and history and the conversation was almost better than the views.
We stopped at many places to take photos and just experience the beauty and quiet of Iceland. The only other people we saw on our 5 hours tours was a group of hikers.
We do plan on going back and he will certainly be seeing Siggi again. We recommend him to anyone that doesn’t want to be with the tour bus crowd. Tell him what you are looking for and I am sure he will deliver.
Lut VThe best jeep tour ever.
Today we did the jeep tour in the mountains near Hofn. Beautiful places where your not able to come by yourself. Thanks Siggi, it was a wonderfull day! We hope to come back once in the winter, and for sure we will contact you again.

What do you want from a tour guide? If it is professionalism, respect of the environment, pride in the surrounds, part of the community, adaptable, able to handle emergencies, treats the customer like a customer, no fuss and an ability to get into areas your rental car can’t go, then this company is the one. We were very happy with our trip into the East of Hofn and will remember the scenery for a long, long time.
Siggi gave us the unforgettable experience of feeling like we were truly alone in Iceland – away from the crowds of tourists, encountering hidden gems of Iceland’s landscape that were tucked away far from the tour buses, in areas reachable only by super jeep (and with a skilled and knowledgeable driver). After a couple visits to Iceland, and having hit most of the major Iceland “must dos”, our 4 hour private tour remains at the top of our list of most memorable Icelandic experiences.
