Amazing experience. I would recommend anyone going to Iceland to do this. Laufey was a brilliant guide, keeping us entertained and informed throughout and the photos she took were brilliant.
Kelly CAmazing combo tour
This was an amazing tour/ history lesson / geography lesson/ life lesson/ Icelandic insight and comedy act with 2 crazy fun loving local people who know this area like the back of their hands!!!
We chose a combo tour as we didn’t want to just drive the 10 hour return trip for the ice caves. Snowmobiling was great fun. It was a pity about the weather but nothing could be done about that. Both guides are part of the rescue team which made me feel very safe but also provided us with some interesting but shocking stories. Do not book with any other company for ice caves or snowmobiles these guys are fantastic trust me.
Dana MSnowmobiling - AWESOME!
What could be better than snowmobiling in Iceland? Snowmobiling on top of a mountain, on a glacier! We absolutely LOVED our tour. It was so secluded (we saw no one else) and beautiful. This lovely guide couple never rushed us and had the greatest personalities. In a twist of fate, my father happened to pass away the day we went on this tour. Laufey (sp?) gave me the biggest hug and was so sweet when I got emotional on the tour. We loved them so much, we’re coming back in a couple months to do the ice cave tour with them! Cannot WAIT!
jjskckSnowmobiling on a glacier
We met our guide, Mart, on September 18th for a snowmobile tour. After putting on our wind- and waterproof suits, we headed up the mountain in a beefed-up van with huge variable pressure tires. Mart pointed out movie locations on the way up; the ride itself made for a great tour. Once we reached the glacier, we got to snowmobile! It was a great experience, even with somewhat limited visibility. Mart taught us a lot of interesting things about the formation of the glaciers and of the Iceland landmass itself. Great experience, fantastic guide.
