You have everything you need and want to see in the Vatnajökull Region. We have many different accommodation options. We have camping, cottages, hostel, guesthouses, apartments and hotels. They are scattered all over the region and you can choose what type of accommodation you want on our website.

We offer many activities on the largest glacier in Europe. The activities vary from ice climbing, to hiking to snowmobiling and in the winter the most popular activity is ice-caving. As the town Höfn, that is located in the region is know as the lobster capital of Iceland, we can promise that the restaurants are noting to complain about. They offer local food, whether it’s the famous lobster or the Icelandic lamb. They even serve the local beer called Vatnajökull that is made from the icebergs in the Glacier Lagoon.
