CathySJBeautiful Hotel, Great Location and Excellent RestaurantThis is a beautiful hotel. It’s only a short ride to the Glacier Lagoon. The rooms were very modern. The restaurant is expensive but we splurged and had a wonderful dinner. It was our best meal in Iceland. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

There is a big parking and the hotel is easy to find next to the 1 road. The restaurant for dinner is also very good, fish is fresh and excellent quality!
lleu2015Lovely rooms and amazing restaurantArrived after a rainy day visiting sites, we were quickly checked in and surprised to get an upgrade to a suite. The room is lovely with large windows and comfy chairs! We had dinner at the restaurant. The prices are higher than other restaurants we’ve been to, but I just had the most amazing meal ever! So worth the money. I opted for the vegetarian meal that included an appetizer and dessert. It was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was attentive and he had wonderful recommendations. Wonderful hotel! We even got to watch the sheep out of the window
