You cannot ask for a better view than the Fosshotel Vatnajokull has to offer. In striking winds, in sunshine, at sunset, or daylight, everywhere you look the view will take your breath away. Well worth a visit. We were lucky to have clear nights and saw an amazing display of the Northern Lights. The sky danced for us.
On a side note, the breakfast is fantastic!
