The swimming pool in Höfn is a 25-meter family friendly outdoor pool that was opened in 2009. There is good accessibility for the disabled and a sheltered sunbathing facility.

“Where the nature nourishes the mind” is a very suitable term for the geothermal hot springs in Hoffell. This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the nature at its best. Relaxing in the hot springs in the realm of the nearby glaciers is an experience you can’t find anywhere else.
Hoffell is truly a land of fire and ice. The natural source of hot water was discovered in the year 2000, and was in the beginning pumped in to a small fish tub so that it wouldn’t go to waste. The kids at the nearby farms would play in the water during the day and the workers who found the water would relax in the evening.
Our facilities include four spacious hot tubs with impressive views of Hoffellsjökull glacier and a sauna. Additionally, we have a bar where you can order refreshing drinks to enjoy while you soak.
The changing rooms feature hooks for hanging clothes and a shower area.
