We salute you Langastína

Humarhöfnin is a family run restaurant that specializes in langoustine dishes. The restaurant opened during the Lobster Festival in summer 2007 and has been in the same family ever since. The family loves langoustine that much that they had an artist that they knew to design a wooden sculpture that they named Langastína the langoustine goddess!

At springtime, in the beginning of every langoustine fishing season, they hold a special langoustine feast to salute Langastína and pray for an endless source of this luscious ingredient.
