Jón ríki (“John the rich”) is our family run restaurant and brewery. It can be found at the end of the path, in a green, wooden building that previously served us in the role of a tractor shed.
We rebuilt the place in 2014 and opened it in the summer of 2015.
From the restaurant you can have a magnificent view of three glaciers on a bright day.
Our focus is first class produce and quality malts that allow us to offer good quality seasonal food and innovative craft beer.
We are fortunate to be able to feature own produce as well as local, fresh ingredients.
During the summertime, Jón ríki is open from 18:00 – 21:00.
During the off – season / winter we offer a small menu with emphasis on seasonal produce. In that case, reservations are required before 17:00.
